About Us
EcoSurv (Establishment of a surveillance system on selected (re)emergent and at risk of introduction zoonoses based on a ecologic approach) is a national project co-funded by the EU under the EU4Health program (2024-2026). It aims to develop innovative integrated surveillance approaches for (re)emerging zoonoses at risk of introduction in Italy. The project, carried out in collaboration with Istituto Superiore di Sanità and IZS-Venezie under the Ministry of Health, focuses on early warning indicators and risk assessment through targeted sampling and data collection on key zoonotic diseases in ruminants, migratory birds, pigs, and other species.
